Recycle Right!

We are fortunate to have an excellent recycling program in Monroe County. But to make it work – and prevent sad scenes like this – we need to understand what can be recycled and how. Check out the Monroe County website for a very clear, straightforward description.

It’s very important to remember NOT to put your recyclables in plastic bags. Any plastic bag, or non-recyclable item in the recycle bin will contaminate the whole load and be sent to the landfill.
